Like this title suggests, I bought this game used. Which I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for, because it would be a rip off.
If you want a cheap game multiplayer game to waste some time between good game releases, then this is a game for you. You can play co-op with up to 4 people online as well.
Levels get very repetitive. Easier setting is no fun with limited fun items. The catch is you have to play harder settings for the chance to find find items like amulets that change you into monsters. But the hard setting is no fun either, you’re constantly looking for ammo and health.
Another thing that sucks is you can’t save when you want and can only do so at save points.
Finally one thing that irked me tremendously: If you accidentally exit a game, not only do you lose your current progress, but your ENTIRE GAME PROGRESS. It happened to us, and lost everything. The game was basically reset. We just past the second level, so it could have been worse.

I was very disappointed in Monster Madness. I thought it was going to be a combination of Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Dead Rising, and Resident Evil, unfortunately the sad truth comes in to place once you start playing the game. It has an overabundance of weapons, vehicles, characters, zombies, and destruction which should make it good, but it comes up short most of the time when comparing it to its great zombie predecessors. For instance, the controls can be agonizingly bad during certain gaming sequences like driving. The basic movements work fine most of the time, but the camera is a hassle during times when you’re killing zombies. The graphics claim to use the power of Unreal Engine 3 which powered the awesome Gears of War, but it looks freaking awful on this game to the point of where it looks like a muddy old Xbox or Playstation 2 game. I had many hopes for this game, but it came up short and I was left disappointed and somewhat agitated. Just go buy Dead Rising instead for your 360, you’ll be much happier.

it’s still a kid heavy game. Battle system is quite simple. You walk around smashing the buttons to kill bad monsters. Weapon system was a strong point in the game, finding items and creating a weapon out of them. I would avoid this game.

This single game that you can also play with a friend is pretty fun, and is similar to Marvel Ultimate Alliance except it’s a city filled with zombie/undead. The controls and character movements/shooting is a bit clunky and would have been a much better game if those issues were not present. I got the game brand new for only about $5 so that was awesome; but I would not pay close to $10 (including shipping) for this game, new or used.
